My family decided to give me a chance of a better life, and we got up and moved from Alexandria, Egypt to Tampa, Florida at the age of four!
I began my tech journey by joining the technology start-up,Stemmed. Stemmed's main goal is to diverse the Technology industry through the recruitment of overlooked and underrepresented but qualifed diverse candidates.
After realizing my love for coding, I decided to take my passion to the next level by attending The Iron Yard. The Iron Yard is a 12 week immersive coding bootcamp, and with the guidance of seasoned instructors and an amazing staff, I was able to call myself a extremely capable developer.

I have been working at a technology startup and I am part of the founding team of Stemmed, which is a technology firm focused on workforce development.They utilize their research-based proprietary process to identify, develop & place diverse entry-level programmers to impact the effort of diversity in the tech industry.

I gained most of my core programming knowledge from being a student of the Java class in The Iron Yard. The Iron Yard is a code school with a mission to create exceptional growth and mentor-ship for people and their ideas through tech-focused education. The school offers full-time and part-time immersive programs in Back-End Engineering, Front-End Engineering, Mobile Engineering, Data Science and Design.
